Tucked inside a lush, historic courtyard in one of Fremantle’s most iconic heritage buildings, Port Mill offers a romantic boutique retreat that blends timeless elegance with modern comfort. Once a flour mill built in 1862, the beautifully restored building now hosts four individually styled luxury suites, each thoughtfully appointed for a memorable stay.
Imagine waking up in what feels like a European townhouse—right in the centre of Fremantle. Behind secure gates and surrounded by lush gardens and a tranquil fountain, our charming B&B provides a peaceful escape amid the vibrant energy of “Freo.”
Our Rooms
Each of our four adults-only mini-suites features a private ensuite bathroom and a cozy Juliette balcony.
• Leeuwin and Batavia rooms are located at the front of our townhouse and overlook the beautiful courtyard and fountain.
• Duyfken and Zuytdorp are located at the back of the property with private, peaceful balconies and no street view.
• Zuytdorp also features a bathtub, shower, and washing machine/dryer—ideal for longer stays.

Stair access only, we have no ground floor rooms or elevator.
Duyfken can be converted to 2 single beds from 1 king bed at time of booking.
All rooms have own wifi, private en-suite bathroom, air-conditioner, TV, ceiling fan, wardrobe, small table/chairs and french doors to private balcony. Daily housekeeping services. Breakfast is served in your room

Additional Information
Smoking is prohibited in the rooms, balconies, within the building and throughout the outside courtyard complex. Due to our Strata bylaws and the comfort of the permanent residents, all guests are asked to smoke outside the courtyard gates at all times.
Please notify us if arriving after 8pm.

Car Parking
Unfortunately we have no guest parking on site, as our location is literally in the middle of Fremantle. Parking is offsite; 24hr parking rates in Fremantle start at $11.00 for open air parking to $50 + for secure private complex parking. Please check ticket machines and postings as rates may change without notice. We provide details in the confirmation email we send you once a booking is made of the closest car parks. If you prefer to secure a car park on the street in front of Port Mill for overnight, parking is metered and two hourly from 9am - 5pm. After 5pm ticket parking is unlimited to 9am.
Two hourly parking 9am to 5pm - $3.00 per 1hrs
Unlimited hours ticket parking 5pm to 1am - max $6.00 (1am to 9am is FREE )

Payment Policy
Balance due on the morning of arrival date. Amount will be deducted from card details supplied during booking. For long-stays and bookings made through online agencies: Payments, Cancellations, Terms and Conditions may vary. Confirmation letter may contain revised policies.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or changes must be made 48 hours prior to arrival or full amount of first changed or cancelled night will be charged. For No-Shows full amount will be charged. Terms & Conditions: Port Mill B &B Owners, Managers, Staff, and Agents reserve the right to modify reservations, rates, services or amenities at any time with or without prior notice.

Location / Distances
Close to beaches, cafés, pubs, resturants, clubs, quirky and unique shops, take a day trip on the ferry and visit Rottnest Island, two old prisons, Maritime Museum, our famous Freo Markets. 30 min to Perth and Airport, 15 min to Train Station. SO much more !! Easy walk to all things Freo! :-D
